DPTS Wins $3.6M Army Research Office Conference Contract

Quantico, VA– October 8, 2007 - DP Technology Services, Inc. (DPTS), a business and technology solutions provider, was recently awarded the US Army Research Development and Engineering Command’s Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums (CWS) Contract. The five-year administrative management contract will support the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) with various conference events held each year. The $3.6 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract involves the organization and administration of a multitude of events each year hosted by various government agencies. Under the scope of the contract, DPTS will provide program management, pre-registration, coordination of RFP procedures and onsite technical support. ARL depends on the CWS to educate and promote new scientific breakthroughs and technological advancements that will provide the military with the capabilities they need to succeed on the battlefield.

 

ARL is the Army’s corporate basic and applied research laboratory designed to provide innovative science, technology, and analysis to enable full-spectrum operations. “Our support will provide ARL with the professional expertise they need in conducting complex conference logistics and give them the confidence they demand in ensuring their events are executed seamlessly for the benefit of vendors, participants and the government sponsor,” stated Portillo.

 

ARL consists of the Army Research Office (ARO) and six Directorates – Weapons and Materials, Sensors and Electron Devices, Human Research and Engineering, Computational and Information Sciences, Vehicle Technology, and Survivability and Lethality Analysis.
