Clinical Support – DPTS provides case management and discharge / disposition planning in inpatient and ambulatory care settings. We assist service members and/or veterans and family members in coping with acute illness, and other health and mental health problems. Our social worker(s) address home care needs, homelessness, and transition across levels and sites of care. Additionally, we provide psychosocial assessment, diagnosis and treatment. We focus on helping service members and/or veterans and their families maximize rehabilitation and treatment potential and achieve more adequate, satisfying and productive emotional and social functioning.

Langley AFB, VA

Program/Exercise Support, ACC/AJ3 – DPTS manages the planning, tasking, monitoring, and lessons-learned reporting for training events (BLUE FLAG, VIRTUAL FLAG, GREEN West FLAG, RED FLAG, MAPLE FLAG, ATLANTIC STRIKE and Joint National Training Center) to include participation in CJCS command post (CPX), field training (FTX), and computer-assisted (CAX) exercises. DPTS professional also provide program support requirements (including PACOM/EUCOM, SOUTHCOM/JOPES, CENTCOM/STRATCOM and JFCOM program areas that each have oversight of one or more joint exercise programs sponsored by CJCS and/or Unified Commands) for daily operations of the division. Our support consists of the planning, scheduling, tasking, exercise budgeting, and execution.

Family Support Center (FSC) Discovery Center – DPTS assisted with program/administrative support in providing a full range of readiness services in areas such as: transition assistance, spouse employment, relocation, financial/family life information, computer support/training, and family readiness to authorized patrons seeking assistance.

Human Resources Management Support, HQ ACC – DPTS performed comprehensive job classification review and analysis of General Schedule positions at grade levels ranging from GS-04 to GS-15. The positions reviewed by DPTS included high-grade positions in emerging or rapidly changing technical fields and higher level headquarters positions. DPTS prepared written recommendations detailing results of organizational studies based on data gathered on organizational functions, workload, and productivity. DPTS offered advice and assistance to supervisors and managers to help them achieve the most efficient, effective and economical usage of human resources in their organizations.

Healthcare Operations, 1st Medical Group, ACC – DPTS provided clinical coding auditing and training services to achieve the following four mission goals: (1) improve organizational policy development, decision making, management, and administration; (2) improve the effectiveness of management processes and procedures; (3) improve the accuracy in diagnostic and procedural coding; and, (4) improve physician education/training in medical necessity, documentation and coding.
